The End-of-Course Exam will be administered December 5-12, for any student who scored below proficient on one or more tests. The order of the testing will be:
- Tuesday, Dec. 5 - English/Language Arts Part I;
- Wednesday, Dec. 6 - English/Language Arts Part II;
- Friday, Dec. 8 - Algebra;
- Monday, Dec. 11 - Geometry; and,
- Tuesday, Dec. 12 - Biology and any make-ups.
The sophomore class will be visiting Pioneer Career and Technology Center on January 23, 2018. This visitation will give students the opportunity to see three programs of interest and obtain information about college credit earned through Pioneer programs.
ACT registration is done online at www.act.org. Testing dates are December 9, February 10, April 14 and June 9. Prospective CCP students wishing to attend Ashland University, OSU-M or NCSC will need to take the ACT by the April 14 date.
College Credit Plus (CCP) gives students in grades 7-12 the chance to earn high school and college credit simultaneously by taking courses at area colleges. The MANDATORY meeting for interested parents of 6-11 graders will be on February 13, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Area colleges/universities will explain the requirements needed to attend their institution. If your child is currently a CCP student your attendance is still required.
Seniors... It’s not too late to begin your post-secondary educational plans. Check college website to see application deadlines. Also, don’t forget to pick up the monthly scholarship packet that contains the most recent scholarship opportunities.
